Located in King Luís I Avenue (present day Samora Machel), it is an elevated affirmative volume, with a vibrant polychrome gable in ceramic tiles. It consists of a block resting upon a podium, with columns embellished with Africanist themes, and dates from 1960, by architect Alberto Pires Florêncio Soeiro (1917-?).
