Equipment and Infrastructures

It is a pavilion-like building, with a central façade in stone, somewhat “heavy”, and of a rigorously symmetrical composition. It has a wide and airy system of modern galleries that wrap around its structures, well suited to the climate, but still preserves a quality of space that almost deprives it of monumentality. Project attibutted to José Costa Silva, in 1939-1944, with maquette built in 1944, it was erected between 1945 and 1952.
