Equipment and Infrastructures
Built next to the cathedral, this construction is included in the characteristic public buildings of the time. Work began on the 2nd March 1906, and despite not being completely finished it was inaugurated by Portuguese prince Luís Filipe during his visit to the city on the 4th August 1907. It has a classical layout with galleries with round arches on each of the two floors, topped by a parapet with a central triangular pediment.
