Equipment and Infrastructures
This is a building designed by architect Francisco Castro (b. 1923). Inaugurated in 1972, it had been planned since 1960-1964. Built next to the Montegiro building, it corresponds to an elegant parallelepiped-shaped and sky-oriented volume, resting upon pilotis over a two-storey podium. It holds art pieces by João Ayres (tapestry and ceramic tiles), Jorge Mealha (sculptures) and João Paulo (painting).
