It is worth mentioning the Cine Alexandrense in a late Art Deco model and a very simple design, and the bank branches of the former Bank Standard Totta, works by Pancho Guedes (b. 1925) who settled in Mozambique (he designed around ten branches for this bank in Angola which also had branches in Mozambique), in an eminently “graphic” style, exploring the lettering on the façades and basic design in what this architect calls “Livro Sete” (seventh book) in architectural terms.
