Building of the Administration and Finances
Equipment and Infrastructures
At the top of the main street, a dual carriageway flanked by mango trees, stood the Administration and Finances building, in a style common in Angola after the 1940s: first floor and an elevated ground floor, staircase and three arches for access to the ground floor veranda which served as an exterior reception area protected from sun and rain. The first floor had a veranda with columns. It was not spared by the post-independence wars and by 2005 only the walls had survived. According to recent information it has been rebuilt.
