An axis that borders the railway line and connects the city centre with the uptown area. The fact of being the road to the station and leading to Manuel de Arriaga Square has influenced the architectural ensemble of 5 de Outubro Avenue and made it the city’s main commercial street and the most consolidated of Huambo. Urbanistically it complements the uptown sector (more representative of official architecture) with its functional and utilitarian style.
